Although the transaction is not complete I am in the midst of aquiring this domain through AfterNIC - I paid a little more than I wanted to but hey...I got it. You can still see it on AfterNIC in recent sales if it intrests you.

What value do you guys put on this domain? The reason I bought it was to put my money somewhere safe before I need it for school in the next couple years. Opinions please.

Decent price for 2 char .net. I picked up 3 a couple weeks ago @ $450 a piece myself. I think they will only tend to increase in value.

Youre accumulating quite a collection..

Any 2 char .net can go for $1000 - 2000 given time...
Judging from experience, a letter/number combo does tend to reach 25pct - 33 pct more on average.

I'd say $800 is very possible in the short term and $1000 ish is a decent long term bet.

The beauty of the 2 char/letter names is they always have a known reseller value range and you are always able to sell it for what you paid. This makes them good investments and more likely to get a better return than a bank account when it comes to paying for your school fees....

Ade has some sage advice. Domain is worth $800 IMO. However, based on posts here and at DomainState there has been debate on value of 2 chars hasn't there? I have two that I bought with the exact intent as yours. I have been unable to sell them for even what I paid. Any decent 2 char is worth $750 to me. You will find a gem here and there that sell for cheap on the other hand you will get some poor character combinations that won't fetch as much either.
