Right, late yesterday evening I registered my first attempt at a domain name based for the Chinese marketplace.
The domain is:
888zong (dot) com
The word 'zong' ( classical = 總 , simplified = 总 ) is supposed to mean 'total'.
There is a developed site on the corresponding 'LLLLNNN'.com domain.
Now I am not expecting any great celebrations resulting from this registration, it is my first such registration and am using it as purely a learning tool (at a cost of only £7, less than $11, I think it will pay dividends in the future to make as many mistakes as possible for such a small price) and I think I have made about as many mistakes as I can in registering this name.
- I used an online free translation service
- I have no knowledge of the Chinese language
- I have no marketing experience in the Chinese market
- I have no targeted buyer pool
Having said all the above please appraise the domain honestly and feel free with the criticism as none will be taken wrongly but taken simply as constructive criticism.
