Hi,

If I registered a domain name today, can I not sell it for 60 days?

I read on Godaddy that domain cannot be transfered if registered on transfered within last 60days

What if register a domain, list it on TDNAM and sell it in a week? Does that mean I will be penalized or the buyer will have to wait for 60 days ?

Please help

If you "push" it from within the GoDaddy system (the Buyer has a GoDaddy account), then you should have no worries, IMHO. The problem would occur if it was to be transfered away from GoDaddy! :gl:

The 60 day rule is actually employed by most big registrars, in general it is OK to push between accounts with the same registrar within that time, however if you are requesting a transfer to another registrar you have to have this period.
I think it was a fraud thing ... In otherwords, steal someones credit card details and register a lot of domains then transfer away before the Registrar realises anything is wrong.

All the best
