500 Free domains!! Get yours too

OK, this is an offer that came in my pcadvisor mag this morning.

If you sign up for an account there (free) then go to http://pcadvisor.co.uk/active24 You should be able to get a code, which will entitle you to a completely free domain with active24 (no I haven't either)

Pcadvisor is a big magazine in the uk, so should be legit.

I believe there are 500 available as part of the offer so you'll have to be quick!

I tried that yesterday, got the email with confirmation, checked the email I needed in their domain checker, it said something like
Move my domain to Active 24, does it men it's not available?

email is support @ active24 .co.uk (without the spaces!), fax number is on the sheet you print out if you need it.
Just an update, they did change my nameservers via email, appx timeframe one day, which is not too bad at all. Still think it should be automated, but its not too bad if you can do it via email. Overall they seem pretty professional, although not geared towards domainers heavily, they work, I have a free domain, and I thank them very much.

Is your domain a .uk.co? I want them to change my nameserver as well if possible. Is it a free service?

My domain was a .com - and it cost me nothing. I must emphasise I am not affiliated in any way with this site, and my first experience with them is akin to everyone's here, so I don't have all the answers!

ennui, I am a little confused by what you have written, but yes, when I tried to register a name that wasn't available, I do remember it said 'move your domain to active24?' so it is probably the case that yours is also not available. Best thing is check with an independant whois server.
