General Requirements : I am looking for a logo for a new business I am starting with a few of my friends. The business deals with lighting retrofits. Basically we swap out old and inefficient lighting with high efficiency LED lights. I am looking for a simple color scheme and something that deals with the area of business we are in. I have two business partners that will be providing feedback as well but mainly I am looking for your ideas as graphic artists to see what works and then evolve it from there. I am attaching a concept we like but again you are the graphic artist and it is up to you to come up with a 100% unique design. Enjoy!!

Improved the slogan. Perfected the LED some more. Went for a simpler, more sophisticated look based on my first version. Reflective shine on the font. Better letter I. Higher res on click.

Made parts of the logo thicker, for a stronger, sturdier, industrial appearance. Went for a more ultra-modern letter A. Shading around the LED added, for a more in depth appearance. Higher res preview on click!

Some quick recommendations for you. I hope you can make changes before contest ends.

Remove the square above the IA in the Fiat Lux text
The square next to the L in the design needs to be removed
make the horizontal line of the f the same width and carry that line through to the L
