HI All

I am looking for ideas. to make my Directory better...

So I am going to hold a comp.... for the best idea... until the 5th of April 08

The Best idea will get $50 cash in their paypal account..

This is a multi forum post just to let you know..

What I want you to do is look over my Directory and let me know how I can make it better..

I am open to any ideas.. the best idea will will..

What about selling one space (to place a link) in

1. Top list header or Latest Links header. The link will be highlighted in a DIV with different color (instead of white). With different font, etc.
2. Submission page, especially above or under the verification image. Because a user who wants to submit a link always and must see that image, so placing a link there will be a great option for advertiser.

Your directory looks cluttered/crowded.

I suggest you take out all those sub directories (black links) and leave only the parent directories (red links) on the homepage. Then when a user clicks on the red link, the sub directories will come out. At the moment I can think of 2 ways to achieve this.

1. Do the same as ebay does when you list your items for sale. First you select your main category, then you select your sub category and so on until you get to the item category. You can do the same with the links.

2. Do the same link your Windows > Start > Program > Accessories > Note Pad. When mouse over the red links, the sub directories will pop-up. Here you can find some sites that fit into this category or the user can drill down further until he finds the sites he is looking for.
