4word domains... why?

Hi,
I've seen a post in the appraisals section showing up a (low) $XXXX offer for 4printers.com .

Now I'm asking myself... what's the value for this kind of domains?
Do they have a market? I would never develop a website with a numeric as first character... and there are a lot free, yet.
Some example (feel free to reg):

4devils
4farms
4fats
4fools
4perfects

and I've got 30-40 names that are probably better than those... would someone please explain me the market for this strange kind?

1. Appraisals are most not the right value.
2. I sold lately 2office.com for $2500 , so you never know...

I think it depends on the whole name. For example 4printers.com sounds like it's a printer site for printers.

Wow sold 2office.com maybe to an office that has that address or a company with 2 offices.

I don't think 4fats would sell in a business sense at all.

4anything.com holds one of the most extensive portfolios of 4domains.

They let a lot of them drop earlier in the year and many of the best ones were picked up on or about January 26th by top domainers.

well Kerri... I agree with you, but (obviously) I didn't write the best ones. Some with overture bigger than "printers" and fitting well with "4"... but I'm just not going to register them.
I'm a collector...
