Interested in what your opinions/ideas are regarding use of "4" as "for" in domain names. What about 2 for "to" or "too" as in "Me2You" or "2Much" <-(all tlds are regged, BTW )
I have 2- 3Character .net names listed at GreatDomains that use "4" this way listed at $7,500, but, of course, those names are 3char., and $7,500 is GD retail/enduser pricing which is a a different bag.

Hm, I, myself, like using "W3" as a prefix for some of my domains but it's also an alternate way of referring to the net...

My feeling is using numbers to replace words is both confusing and generally depreciates the value of the domain.. but it's also a matter of taste, I guess.

Either way, brandable, but reg fee for now.

I don't like the idea of using numbers to replace words. Reg fee, IMHO.

TX. I kind of like "4" (and "2" to a lesser degree), but more when used w/ 3 character names, and then only when used very selectively. I think that "4" combined w/ well known 2 letter abbrevs, ie Mr, TV, Rx, MD have such strong branding potential, that they are worthwhile to reg. But I haven't yet, formed an opinion about longer names, like those I have listed.

I don't like the majority of names using numbers for sounds or look alikes, ie Gr8, c00l. Come across as a little too cute, from my perspective, but as you said, it's probably a matter of taste.

Anyone else?
