4 letter/number domain question

How would these be worth:

L = letter
# = number

LL#L
LLL#
L#LL

Is a 3 letter domain + 1 number of any value? Let's assume it's not brandable

they are all .com


I'm not looking for anything specific. I just want to know if a LLL#, L#LL, or LL#L has value at least $100.

Generally speaking these types of names do not have any value, unless of course, they mean or denote something.

Don't waste your time and money on random domains like that. Even random 4 letter .com domains are not doing to well. Rather go after quality instead of quantity.

There could be some value if you could get some meaning from the name, like ILU2 could be "I Love You Too". But it's hard to find a domain with a clear meaning that others will like, and may be even harder to find a buyer.

They may have more value in a few years from now, as fewer and fewer .coms are available, but even then I would not expect the value to be more than the $10-$30 range.

I would have to agree with the posters here to an extent -- if you market them to the right audience, you may get more for them.

There are those out there who are buying 4C(4 character domains) because they are four characters -- for a while there, there were some buying 5 letter domains.

The value of a domain is in the eye of the prospect -- not necessarily you!

You never know what can happen. I've seen domains in excess of 10 characters that meant nothing go for a good amount of money -- simply because to the buyer, they were worth something.

Something nonsensical to you, may mean something to someone else.

Do not discount any possibilities. You can always park it at Sedo and let it pay for itself if traffic goes to it. Chances are, if it gets traffic, someone is looking for it.

After a year, let it drop -- but don't go buying a 4 character domain for $100 or anything -- get it off a drop list or lucky search.
