Well when you park a domain with a paid parking company, depending on how wel the seo of thier parking landing pages are - search engines will pick up (cache) relavent keywords that are found in the advertising text and along the the keywords in the domain - it will have a decent placement in search engines and that is where the traffic comes from - along with type ins as the domains are keyword generic to their relative industry - user search terms
