What do you all think about 4-digit (all numbers) .orgs? Just curious to know if they are worth getting.....

Thanks!:]

If its a year .org (like 1991.org), then it will be worth it. Alumni websites come to mind.

If its just some large number (like 4521.org), then you probably need to research possible uses first before regging. If you can't find a logical use, it will be worthless.

Thanks- good to know.

I only have one .org, and that's because I own all ext's of that particular name, but I don't know much about its value. I guess I'll check out some things before I register another .org.

You're welcome. I have more than a couple .org's, and as long as they work with the extension, then there would be some value. After all, .org is the 3rd most popular unrestricted extension!.

Also, if you already own the .com and .net, and the site is fairly busy, you should reg .org as a defensive anti-squatting measure.

why not get 4 digits .com?
There are at least 20% of all combinations available (around 2000).

IMHO, every 4 digit .org without specific meaning (f.e. 6846.org) is worthless.

I think .org with 4 digits in them are worthless as well! That is, unless they occupy an important place/event/meaning in one's mind. Otherwise, I think they would worth more or less $10. Good luck in your investment!

Agree with everyone! Thumbs down to "random" four-digit ".ORG" domain names, IMHO.
Best of Luck.
