Hi chaps/esses

I guess i'm more interested in your "general" view of the future of the 3G domain market, but here's a couple of highlights from my portfolio if any of you kind folk get a moment to comment.

I can't offer parking stats as they are currently at Sedo who, in their infinite wisdom, dont provide results on searches of 2 characters! Very useful when you are selling 3G domains - NOT! Wish I'd done my homework! Ah well..

3G GPS.com
3G Photos.com
3G Tickets.com
3G-Networks.com
music3G.com

A future for this market maybe?

Cheers

Simsi

not really much value speaking from industry experience as the 3G wireless technologies tend to be "access specific" i.e. 2 primary wireless access standards (GSM/CDMA) which are base technologies so in 3G aka 3rd generation evolutions are: UMTS & HSDPA/UPA/XPA for GSM and EVDO/Rev A/B for CDMA. On top of that both GSM and CDMA have mobility networks such as MobileIP/WiMax/etc.)

In short the problem is because of this GSM/CDMA separation it's hard to market one generic 3G domain which would appeal to end users (be it consumers or telcos) who are w/Sprint(CDMA) or TMO(GSM) or VF(GSM) or VZ(CDMA)

hope makes somewhat sense ;)

3G actually was launched in Q404 Europe last year (Orange, Vodafone, TMO) and in the US since mid-05 (Verizon/Sprint EVDO & Cingular HSDPA Q405)

but everyone is entitled to their opinion, I guess if you think it's the future he just found an end-user to sell to :)
