Nice name snoopinc, hold it for a little while, it wont be long before they're on the market here

Australians will be able to buy 3D television sets from next Monday.

Samsung today launched its new line-up of television sets, including the series 7000 LED TV, which will be in stores from April 19. It will cost from $2899 for the 40-inch set, including two sets of 3D glasses.

The 46-inch set will cost $3699 and the 55-inch set $4799.

Additional glasses will cost $129 a pair for a rechargeable model and $99 a pair for a battery-powered option.
Three-D plasma models will follow in May.

Rival manufacturer Sony announced in February that its 3D TVs would be available in Australia from July. Other manufacturers also are rushing to get their sets to market this year as the fascination with 3D looks set to drive home entertainment sales in the same way it has revitalised cinema box office in the past six months.

Being from Australia and in the resale market here... this isn't worth a lot. Giles will disagree, probably because they hold a large 3D portfolio.

You've got a $regfee domain right now unless something drastic changes. I disagree with the "inherent value" that people seem to put in anything 3D related. This isn't terrible by any means, it's a lot better than 3Dtoilet or 3Dpizza or some garbage at least.

Well right now i can only wait and see when 3D recorders hit the Australian market. If 3D tv's make it big here, then 3D players and recorders will be next.

Little value above what a fellow NP'er would be willing to pay. And there seems to be only a small handful of domainers willing to go above regfee on 3D names.

The two are not comparable since 3D printers have nothing to do with the entertainment kind of 3D. They are actually for part designers to "print out" 3D models.
