Its actually quite sad, with all the encryption on the blu-ray disks you have to spin those disks way to fast, (faster than just normal read speed) which means they get very hot, and they get hot quick.

Hm, just like the old days.. Beta was better than VHS but lost out.. some say because porn drives the market and they supported the VHS format. :D

Blu-ray *is* the better product...I'm glad the porn industry was thinking with their...uh, well, "thinking head" this time.

Great news for PS3 owners, bad news for Microsoft. Maybe if they'd integrated HD-DVD into the base model of the 360 the format would have done better.

i think i am going to develop it like reviews etc about blu ray stuff...any ideas as what kind of site i should be using this name for...

How about somewhere that people can go to find low prices on blu-ray players and other blu-ray hardware? Like, scrape places like slickdeals, newegg, woot, etc and grep out all the blu-ray hardware.
