.tv 365.tv sold for $60,000!

It looks like 365.tv sold at Namejet yesterday for $60,000. The reserve was between $50,000 - $75,000. First came in and continued to proxy all the way to find out the reserve and met it at $60,000. Time will tell, but great news.

That was an incredible reserve price. I don't think too many would have had the nerve/strength/optimism to put a price quite that high.


The Domains has a story on the sale and it appears from the comments that the buyer was on behalf of a Chinese client.

"First" and "Twotwo" are bidding on behalf of Chinese auction houses. So yeah buyer is Chinese.
