question 358.com

Spaceship Spaceship

How this domain 358.com is pending delete is beyond me. Being at Enom of course I had expected this to be auctioned at Namejet, but it wasn't.

Which backorder system will get this we don't know, most likely DC or SN... How much do you think the buyer will pay?

Post your "bets"!

Yes indeed, $15 backorder to one of us or $180,000 in auction, or enom decides to keep it and pretends it didn't expire.

Already at $195k

Buyers with deep pockets bidding up the price so early.

Nothing like overpaying because of auction hype. That price is absurd unless a true enduser is bidding.

Current price: $380,000.00

If somebody is interested can bid via my acc on snapnames (I don't have such money) :)

Crazy times...

Woe to the person who has dropped this domain, and their family.

I love domaining but I'd rather have the $380,000.00 than 358.com

But saying the above the mind boggles why somebody let this drop :-o

But saying the above the mind boggles why somebody let this drop :-o

I picked up a nice domain last year, nowhere near the caliber of a 3N but it was still very nice.

It's a fairly common phrase used across the world and had some 70k/mo sv.

It turns out that the previous owner (a high multi-million dollar business) used it for a small charity event for a family member who had a terminal illness. That person died, and that organization just let it drop and stopped having those events.

It's a shame, but it's the unspoken nature of this business - not all drops come from forgetfulness or the lack of value awareness.

If they were .cn they could simply have raised 2 fingers.

Not the brightest bunch to infringe in this way.

"The federal judgement ruled that Las Vegas Sands suffered monetary loss and irreparable injury to its business and reputation due to the conduct of the registrants of 68 domain names operating online casino activities that mislead consumers into believing they were associated with the Sands trademarks."

Thats just stupidity at it's best, however I bet they made a little more than a few dollars doing what they were doing. I guess Sands will be the owner and SnapNames will get a nice payday.
