The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. This was the strongest week of sales we have seen in more than four months. Every domain on our new Top 20 Chart hit at least five figures and the #1 domain went for $350,000 in one of the 12 biggest sales reported so far this year.

The first .mobi sales reports are in and 11 of those hit four figures (with four of them making our Global Contenders Top 20). Still the .nets monopolized the big sales on that chart with 5 of the top 6.

Among the ccTLDs, .co.uk has another big week, racking up 3 of the top 5 sales on our Country Code list, including a #1 domain that went for over $25,000.

Also new at DN Journal this week is our preview of the 2006 T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East conference coming up in two weeks in Hollywood, Florida and our October Newsletter that was mailed out Monday. If you are not on the mailing list, you can read the newsletter online here.

thanks as always, but why only selective .mobi pool sales? there were some pretty high sales not listed and will the resreved name auctions make the lists? just curious.

As stated in the report, they are not selective. We only report sales that have been verified as completed - which means paid for and the domain transfer completed. A high bid in an auction doesn't mean either one has been done. Also, not all sales are reported to us. Many buyers and sellers do not wish to release this information.
