He's probably got it on ebay as it may be easier to pull out or pull back and tweak. Sedo it goes and it is going when the auction ends....he's probably nervous it won't fetch what he wants on Sedo or doesn't want to risk it.

On a phone without a qwerty keyboard, if you have the number lock on, it is three keys, 3-2-1 then turn off number lock to type .mobi.

Keystrokes, in my opinion, is not an issue if you have ever watched text messagers in action, especially with more and more phones being offered with qwerty keyboards.

Yeah...I was just informed by our teenage niece recently that she sends 5000[!] text messages per month. So clearly an extra keystroke here or there is not going to make a difference to most users.

Nice final price on that. As we were discussing in another thread, the prices that quality .mobi's are garnering is definitely going higher.

I can almost guarantee that a domain of this calibur would not have received even half that price a few months ago during the .mobi "lull".

Depends on the extension. I think it's quite good for .mobi at this point.

What do you think 321.net or .org would get? I'm sure much higher, but the point is that .mobi is inching up toward the .net/org valuations, slowly but surely.

I predict that 2 years from now, .mobi prices will be on par with .net/.org/.info domains.
