310 is a pretty popular area code in Los Angeles (similar to 212 for NY), so this is sort of an oblique version of "LA Real Estate".

I regged it fresh at GoDaddy, and it was added to auctions as all my new regs are. Three days later had an offer of $110. I don't particularly want to sell it - for that price I'd rather hold it.

I am curious as to what anyone thinks it's worth though? Note that traffic and income are negligible.

310 might be familiar to folks that live in the LA area, but not for someone that is out of it.

At the same time, the 310 area code covers a lot of ground, and LA has some of the most expensive real estate around.

With that said, I think it can be valuable to the end-user like a realtor in Los Angeles, or a site providing real estate listings in that area.

It's possible that the offer is from an end-user who plans on developing it into a site.

Typically, end-users will pay more for a domain because they intend to build a site from the domain, unlike a domainer, who simply buys and flips domains for a profit.

Well yes, of course.

Why would I sell my domains to domainers? I would think they would be the last market I would want...

Maybe I misunderstood the appraisal area =o)
