$30 logo design contest

Hi,
We need a professional-looking logo for our web directory
at http://www.romow.com.

Preferred size 300x90
Use the same background color as the header

Add this text:
"Romow", and
"Web Directory" or "Preminum Web Directory"

Design needs to go well with the template,
(but that does not limit your color choice to green background),
and of course needs to be unique, original,

It needs to be professional looking, but at the same time
aesthetically pleasing and eye catchy not to make it boring looking.

Your logo will be further developed into several banners,
so hopefully someone will design a very nice logo for us!

Cash prize (paid by paypal) is $30.

Will decide later when to end this contest,
but probably in a few days.

thanks for your entry, but personally your icons aren't that much appealing to me, and the icons and the simplistic text do not combine that well.

thanks for the design. i'm not sure whether i like the fonts. also, there's some wasted space in the above. i'm looking for a logo that is eye catchy graphically.

thanks for your design VictoriaAnn.
I like the color variation in your later revisions slightly better.
As for the icon, I would prefer something that could symbolize directories.

romow, here is my first attempt...i still cannot figure out how to make my images post in the thread, and not as an attachment. but this is only my second post ever, so if you could tell me how to do it that would be great. also if you have any feedback, i can make more attempts. -funkfunk

300x90 seemed fairly small, so I can resize if you need to as well...let me know what you think. if you want any changes made, or suggestions, i like constructive criticism.

welcome to namepros, and thanks for the design.
I may not be clear in my posting. I would like to have the background color of the logo set to #E9E8D3.
The premium web directory text is not much readable against the current bg, and I'm not sure whether I like your choice of icons...
