Hi there,
I just added 3 geo .tv names into my collection:

Cebu (The second largest city of Philippines)
Santorini (A famous destination of Greece)
Amman (The capital city of Jordan)

what do you think about these 3?
thanks in advance! :)

Firstly let me say i love Geo's!! The more i think of them, more i wish i bough lots that i passed on.
I particularly think there is still some great buys in Geo's from outside USA, in recent weeks everyone has been catching on to the whole Geo thing and buying almost every US Geo with population above 50,000. If you compare this to outside of US then you can still find many strong Geo's with average overture and very large populations.

I think many Geo buyers look too much to the US market where there is still many better Geo's outside US.

Now ive had my little rant then i'll look at your buys:

Cebu: Population of 3,356,137
Overture of 21397
As far as i can see there isnt a massive tourist industry which i usually try and get with any Geo;s i buy.
A little fact that may help with any possible advertising is: "Cebu has been hailed as the furniture capital of the country."

I think that is a very good buy, well done.

Santorini
Population: i think its around 13,600 (im unsure this is correct)
Overture: 35497 (good compared to many Geo's)
Great Tourist industry
Its spectacular natural beauty along with its eminent nightlife make the island one of Europe's top tourist hotspots.
The .com is developed into a Guide to area

very nice reg, i like this lots.

I've ran out of time now but thats my thoughts on these, i really like both i looked at. Well done and good luck

Im glad you agree with me Fleaking about buyers looking too much to the US market, always good to know you are not alone in your opinions.

As i said in the post i really like your names, are you planning on developing or will you be looking to sell them on??

I am still not sure,
I have been collecting geo .tvs since last year (for now I have 4 capital city and about 10 other cities with more than 1million population),
maybe I will link all of my geos together and use them to establish a travel video network in the future :P

It's a tough one with .tv - it seems it mght make it and then it seems to be 2 steps forward, 2.5 back.

I have offered Country .tv very cheaply, :imho: , but no takers- not a good sign.

But then I have seen a slow down in all extension sales. I offered two one word .com (Not great, obviously but OK) for much less than $x,xxx each - no takers.

Picked up some great .hk IDN'S though. :hi:
