Due to focusing my efforts on a small amount of large projects (rather than a large amount of small projects) i'm needing to clear some of my portfolio.

www.themmoforum.com is a set of forums related to the world of MMORPG's (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Games) - including Everquest 2, World Of Warcraft and more.

The forums are fully set up for revenue generation, with several mods including amazon listing links and adsense ad placement after each post (both can be disabled and amended as required) - another great mod is enhanced user profiles which have been customized to allow users to select the MMORPG's they are currently playing etc.

In addition, the forums are also modded to input RSS feeds from major MMORPG websites into relevant sections at the push of a button - this can also be customized to include as many or as few sources as you like very easily.

These forums are currently PR4, and are predicted PR5 on iwebtool.com

Indexed pages in Google currently stands at 1,210, and SERPs for such keywords as 'mmo forum' and 'mmo forums' are extremely good, ranking in the top 5 positions for results.

Traffic is on average 25 uniques per day in August, with approx 400 monthly uniques. Adsense ads were not channelled so assume minimal revenue

In all honestly this is something I started and never followed through, which is why traffic and revenue is not something to shout about - however this would definately be a fantastic headstart for anyone wishing to build a thriving community.

Domain is regged with GoDaddy until March 07

Ive bought it on the understanding that i want it on my server.:

"Yes, all you will need to do is upload the contents of the site to your server.

There is a database backup saved in the folder, titled php4.gz - if you go into pmpMyAdmin within cPanel, and then select 'Import' you'll be able to upload and install the database.

Once thats done, its just a case of changing the forums config file to point to the new database location."


Please dont ignore me give me instructions that work or fix it please.

With all due respect, allowing only 3 days from your contact for me to respond before you brand me as having bad manners is a little impatient. I do not check these forums daily, and as I had not heard from you for over 2 weeks since the purchase, I had assumed everything went well.

I'll be sending you a private message regarding this, however I assure you, as will many others, that the instructions given for uploading site contents and importing a database are correct.
