you cant be forced to put a name under .xxx. What if someone owned porn.com and someone else owned porn.net? BDSM.com is a good name and worth a fortune by the way, not just some random LLLL.com.

Is this based on experience in that market or guesswork? Given this name was sold by auction at a very large adult webmaster conference I find it hard to beleive it would only get a years revenue, why would the seller even consider a sale at that level?

If .xxx ever goes through and is widely adopted / legislation passed to force adult content to it, people will use the .COM in the same way the poker sites use their .NET domains to host "legal" content while promoting the commercial site. The .COM will still have a lot of valuable.
