Deadline is just over one week from now: 11.59PM US Eastern Time Monday 16th January.
I'm making a site called amsterdamreview.com and I need a logo.
The logo should measure 780 (width) x 150 (height).
Background color of the page will be white, so background color of the logo should be white.
You should feature in the logo the national orange color of the Dutch. For a sample of the color visit here: http://www.holland.com
The color can be 5% of the logo or 80% or anything else, I do not care, I leave it to your creativity, just know that it must be featured.
The other colors do not matter, that is up to you.
The logo should feature the phrase amsterdamreview.com.
As well as this text, the logo should feature one or more elements of Dutch/Amsterdam culture. It can be a pair of clogs or a windmill or tulips - I don't care, you can use your imagination. But it should be an element of Dutch or Amsterdam culture. But please no adult features of Dutch culture, like the brothel ladies or smoking of substances! This will be a family friendly site!
The style of the logo should be a friendly one, not some kind of corporate style. I do not want any photorealistic objects in the logo. I do not want the objects to look 3D rendered either. Instead they should look drawn by hand, even cartoony if you like. This is for the objects (NOT the lettering).
The phrase "amsterdamreview.com" and the object(s) should be physically linked somehow. They don't need to wrapped around each other ten times, even a subtle overlap is enough, but they should be linked in some manner.
The objects must be original artwork and not some clipart copy and pasted.
Post the entries here in .jpg format as normal, but the final result should be sent to me in .psd format (so in future I can easily edit the logo and different layers for my own needs).
I need entries from at least three different people to choose one entry and declare a winner.
The winner of this contest will win $25 via Paypal.
Special Bonus - I have another site that I need a logo for but want to keep private. The winner of this current contest will automatically win rights to create another logo for me. I will pay $25 (via Paypal) for the logo for this other site. The winner does not have to do this second logo if they do not wish to, but the unconditional offer of extra work is there for the taking by the winner. The time allowed for this extra work will be one week after my issuing requirements.
I retain ownership and all rights to winning logo.
Remember to watermark your logos in accordance with the forum rules.
