$25 logo and $50 index graphics

Contest for two related items for my Wazoo Domains website.

1. Logo w/slogan
Need a logo to go in the 65x400 top left space where the fuzzy-looking name is now. Would like the slogan included. Should be able to shrink down for business cards, letterhead, etc. Needs to fit site's existing colors and such. Any style from classic to innovative will be considered...strong, yet classy.

2. Graphics
Need a great Name-type graphic for the 80x800 space to replace the Coming Soon and the globe. I can live with a static graphic if it's what appeals to me, but I would prefer something in flash or animation, like the the name making a classy entrance and making a strong, classy presence once there. Note: The logo and graphic are for the live, finished site...not another "Coming Soon"

Would like to have submissions posted in the forum, or links to them.

Will choose a winner by next Monday (6-19), sooner if something really does the trick. Naturally, you can submit both as a package, but they will still be considered separate projects.

Not bad...#1 is solid and clean. Simple enough that I don't have more to comment on until I see some others. The slogan is missing, though.

It appears a bit fuzzy on my screen...is it an image? I'll check it with a 1280x1024 setting. Okay...looks good at a better resolution.

Do you have any thoughts on other styles...like compressing or overlapping the name letters...for example...the A inside the bottom of the W...although that might not look right if the rest of the name isn't somehow matching...(just me thinking....)

My apologies if I wasn't clear... The 80x800 space needs to be the finished product for the live website, not a Coming Soon replacment.

Don't care for #3. #4 is okay, but like #1 better w/slogan. #5 is interesting...not sure if the WD logo is what I want, though...seems a little plain or something.

I'm discovering giving feedback on this is difficult...it's hard to put intial feelings about something in print when it's more emotion sometimes than knowing specifically what is appealing or not.

Didn’t want the background color to change (unless you really hit a homerun with something). As is, it's a little too bright and draws eyes away from the content.

Interesting design with the sideways WD...may be too much for my existing colors, but maybe not...trying to stay away from pointy/sharp objects/font...I think.

Nice Design. Is that for the 80x800 or 65x400? Can you show me what it would look like in the index page, especially since your background color is different.
