Hi,

I'm going to sell this domain on Sedo (I have an offer at high $xx) and to avoid any future regret I'd like to have your opinion.

I want to sell it but don't know if I should make a counter-offer or accept the current price.

Thanks for any appraisal. :)

I hope that you are going to put this domain at fixed price, because sedo will eat half of your profit if you just accept an high $xx offer.

Thanks for your reply dnb8 but I think it's too late now: I haven't fixed the price and cannot start auctions because the offer was made through "SedoMLS GoDaddy" (I don't really understand why but I can't go against Sedo rules). :(

As you say with current offert I'll end up with 50 bucks :(

But I prefer 50% of 100 bucks than 100% of nothing ;)

Long time ago sedo charged 10% when the domain name was parked on sedo nameservers. good old times. :)
50 dollars is better than nothing, you are right ;)

You will end up with $40 after sedo and the regfee. Do you do domaining for $40 bucks? If so take the money.

I would counter $500 (still low enough for you to hopefully keep this one important to you sale, but high enough for you to get a proper sale under your belt) and hope someone like 247media.com bidding.

Goodluck

Thanks Johname for your reply.

I do domaining for whatever money I can get ;) I try to avoid being too greedy.

Moreover I know that often the first offer is the last offer, unless the domain has a real inherent value.

So, do you think this domain could be sold for more in a reasonable time-frame, i.e. before the reg fees cost me more than the final price? ;)

[/COLOR]Thanks latestn for your appraisal.

@johname: so $500 is in the top of latestn range.

Then I may try a counter-offer at $200.

Any other opinion is welcomed :)

Thanks
