Probably not. :) It's not something I have an article planned on - I'm just personally curious about current wholesale pricing in certain categories, as well as how much difference selling at one venue as opposed to another might make (or selling in multiple venues at once).

I rarely sell anything at wholesale levels any more, but I may do a few other single name auctions under different conditions to get some first hand results on categories like LLL.us with a single q,x,y or z in them and LLN.coms. The wholesale prices in these categories are below the levels I track for DNJournal so I thought the best way to gauge them firsthand would be to sell a few of them.

It has been amazing to see the LLL.us with one (or more) less popular letters go from reg fee to over $100 consistently in just the past 12 months. LLN.com also seem to have gone up considerably. I have a lot of domains in these categories and am considering whether reseller prices on them have now reached a level that is attractive enough to let some of them go while keeping the best combinations for end user sales.

Late Edit:

Just saw an excellent post Jamie31877 made in a thread you started Tom: http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/237719-l-l-com-net-org-info.html#post1470745

It has average SnapNames results on some of the categories I mentioned. Very useful info.
