Don't all transfers do this? Every single one I've ever done has.

Thanks for digging through their buried faq. Most people would expect that extra year mean we got 2 year since the 1 year already included by default. What a misleading "promo" if its only 1 year same as literally other registrar out there. Do they have a rep here to clarify?

The word "extra" or "additional" shouldn't be used since its a gtld, people expect 1 year added by default on every transfer unless like stated, it already got max 10 years before transfer.
