Hi guys,

What are your thoughts on the 2014brazil.com

I snagged it last week as an expiring domain and surprised I was able to get it. Split between developing it and selling it.

Thanks for the feedback - but the 2014 world cup is being held all over Brazil. I'm pretty sure 2014rio.com would be worth less.

Agree that after the 2014 world cup the value of the domain drops dramatically, but I think the potential between now and summer 2014 is huge. The domain's alexa rank is about 12 million (with no website), the .net, .biz, .org, .co.uk, .ca, as well as a few other extensions are also registered.

Sell er quick.
I would say that for every month that passes in 2014 you'll lose about 10-15% chance of selling it.
Reason. If someone were to build a site for the Olympics their not going to wait til may, june to do it.
Their going to need to acquire a name but the end of 2013 max!

MY OPINION. Get rid of that stupid WP site and list it on Bodis now!

Does anyone agree?

Appreciate the input. I think you're right - I have no real desire to develop it.

Took your advice and listed it on godaddy auctions.

Will also attempt to list it at bodis.com, but having trouble setting up an account there at the moment.

Cheers,
Brian
