Today and the way the economy is globally this is the next best thing that could be happening apart from the bubble in 2000 except as Rick Shwartz said in his video on targeted traffic website recently the only difference is instead of people getting away from the internet as they did back than in the bubble they are getting more involved on the internet.

So this is exciting times right now for everyone in the domain name business!

That's a sweet position. I'm not very diversified at all, other than an exceptionally well diversified portfolio of domains......but it does not seem to be helping with the downturn since G, and maybe Y, are taking the money back from every niche in parking. Even the ones in a downturn that get better traffic now are still not paying what they should/did.

I wonder what someone like Frank Schilling would do if the plug was pulled on him? Send it to Ask? Hard to imagine though.

One thing I would suggest is leasing such Sendori. They will generally only be able to find advertisers for a small % of names but it is likely something that will grow and it is good diversification.

Give it up, your original comments were completely flawed, not much point telling me you have now done your "own research", come back when you have some genuine data.

There is nothing to "give up", you are wrong, the second example i gave was not the right one, you seem to have latched on to adsense revenue as the only margin i am refferring to.

I am referring to Googles increasing margin, Adsense is only one part of this example, i did though show that in the first example that it was increasing last year.

Here is the quarterly results clearly showing the margins increasing to 31.4 % and a non gap operating margin to 36.5 %, This is UP from the previous three months from 29.4 % and non gap 34.5 %.

Googles main revenues are through advertising, join the dots!

The following table presents certain non-GAAP results before certain material items (in thousands, except per share amounts, unaudited):

This information is directly from Google investers relations, as i said my research pointed to around "maybe low 30's %". If you cannot except you are wrong, i suggest you go to Google investor relations and argue the point with Googles CEO, my job is done.

Here is link to Google investor relations

snoop, I just took another look at them......it looks like they relaxed their requirements. Before, you had to have at least a million visitors per month.......now they also allow "high revenue generic domains which collectively earn more than $1,000 per month with parking".

I did not have a million visitors per month in parking before when I looked into it. Who does? Almost nobody like us.

I'm going to contact them.......thanks for pointing them out to me again.
