$20 Web Hosting Logo Contest

Hi again!!

I am in need of another logo...... this time it's for a web hosting site.

The domain is www.PolarisHost.com and I would like all designs to have the following text layout:

POLARIS
Web Hosting

The "POLARIS" takes up most of the logo, and should have some kind of bright star theme to it as Polaris the brightest star in the constellation Ursa Minor . My idea was to have the star's trail begin at the base of the "P", and "shoot" diagonally upwords to the right hand side, and finish with a bright star above the letter "I". I am only looking for 1 star.

I will leave colours up to you, but bright colours wold suit the theme/name well.

Vector would be fantastic!

To Everyone - Thanks so much for all your time and effort. As there can only be 1 winner, the best I can do to the rest of you is give you good feedback which you can hopefully use....

EmanEvan - Thanks for the changes! Finding it hard to split between the first 2, the obvious streak or the not so obvious one....

smub - I like your 4th entry (streak forms an arch)... it's something different. I prefer just the 1 star though.

One Armed Scissor - An Aussie! Won't hold it against you that you are based in VIC, (NSW here lol). I think you are the first to use all uppercase.... nice to see something different. To be honest, I tried putting my thumb over the "flame" kind of thing on that leading star...... I think it looked nice.

Nata - hi again mate! I like your 2nd one better. The font I'm not a big fan of though.

sqaurexdesign - I'm definitely looking for a "star" somewhere and a bright design to match the theme...

PATRICK - Your 1st entry was simple and effective.

aznchong - Thanks again for your time! I'm definitely looking for the "streak" to go with the star on all entries.

AT THIS POINT I don't want to waste anyones time so I'm going to just list here the entries that I feel that I will eventually select the winner from. I still don't understand at all how you guys do this....it's great for me because I got to see a lot of nice designs, but I can only choose 1 winner so for all of you that put in your time and effort, thanks so much and all I can do is try and give you constructive feedback.

Hi virtualraceday,

guetizo - Always nice to have your entry. I prefer the star to be shooting strong, instead of a "wave" type of streak. The wave makes me think like the star is not strong and wandering around if that makes sense. I like the font, possibly a lighter blue, and of course, "Web" instead of "Heb" :P
