2 Letter .com (win $25 for giving me your appraisal)

I am currently working on selling the following name.

www.SS.com

I have been given the opportunity to sell this name.

This is a true .com not an idn or whatever you call it.
All Appraisals greatly appreciated.

Appraisals onthis thread have been great!! Lets just hope to see whos the closest.

Edited 4/7

I tell you what I'm going to do!

I will give away $25 dollars (COLD CASH) to the person who is the closest to the selling price when sold.

I'm almost certain it will be sold this week. I figured the response and replies I have gotten here are great, so why not give back. There will only be one winner ( IF TIE money split). I'll post when the last appraisal will be accepted. Only 1 new appraisal per NP member. Post on thread and just PM me saying SS.com just t o validate your appraisal.

I hope this is alright BY NP to do this!!!!

Goodluck!!!!

I have listed it private so that I may protect the ids of Bidders to prevent them recieving unwanted emails. Greatdomains has an agreement but I could sell anywhere. My name YWX.org was also listed on great domains but I sold on afternic.

Keep the bids coming. I ahve another great name coming after this one its another 2 letter .com.

Coming soon after the sale of this name.

the German stormtrooper connection with the characters SS represents a serious reservation point to a major company as a potential customer...For that reason the value might be a lot less than anticipated....

To me "SS" has only one mental connection, and it's not a good one. It's dripping with blood. If I was to pick a name for my company, I would never want to associate it with SS.

Just saw this on eBay this morning...

Great name, good luck with it.

I do not believe I'd let it go for less than $50k

The only thing I don't like is the (in my case) instant thought of the "SS".

Be sure you have a RESERVE of $50k (or whatever you desire) in eBay.

Good luck again.

Regards,
Keith

p.s.: whoo-hoo! Post # 500!

I agree with the points about the negative connotations of the SS acronym (shudder)... but that notwithstanding, this is worth a (minimum) high $xx,xxx minimum on your eBay auction - now at $25K with 15 bids...

high $$,$$$ to low $$$,$$$

It's a great domain! I bid on this domain about 2.5 years ago when first offered on ebay by the original owner @ the time. Good Luck!

$400k-$500k minimum "reseller". That's just what these names go for these days. $1M+++ to an end user. With the issues with social security coming up in the US this could be a killer name for a financial company.

I also shudder every time I think of all the money put into Social Security that no one will ever see again!

Hmmmm,

Im a little confused Hangman...

This names not yours right..?

The owner has it for sale for $100k?

He is paying you commission to broker it for you..?

And for this commission, you simply list it on Ebay..??

 [not at you, just the circumstances]
