domain 2 fully developed sites

I was just wondering, if I was going to sell, how much do you guys think I'd get for each of these 2 sites:

www.scriptdownloads.com

and the other one:
www.getyourforum.com

please post any comments etc, I would just like to get an idea on what other people think they're worth.

I think that GetYourForum.com could possibly be mid $xx
if sold to the right person. Its catchy, still some people
out there wanting free forums host, and its fully automated according to the website.
Only thing to improve there, is maybe offer more forum types.

As for ScriptDownloads.com pretty good, but the site just.. looks
almost like a template to me, so maybe low $xx. But it also depends
how many visitors, members, scripts, etc. you have-- that could push
the value up to high $xx.

Who do you plan on selling this to? What is your marketing plan?
Or is this for you to run and host.

I love the name (site 1) and it looks clean (yes, templatish... but that's okay if you have GOOD CONTENT)...

There is not a lot of content on the 2nd either... so I would suggest beefing up that prior to offering for sale...

Price... fully developed... You should be able to get mid to high $xxx

well I didn't say I've been offered that much, but said people would say it's worth that.
The site has about 2 thousand scripts ON the server, no 3rd party, plus it's one of the first site of that nature(site sells script fro person, keeps commission, person gets rest)

Also, I've seen atleast 7 other people ask for clones of my sites on various freelance sites...

I've been offered mid x,xxx for it, and turned it down though.

Here is the BOTTOM LINE when it comes to selling domain names and figuring out what they are worth...... ARE YOU READY??????

The value of the domain name is the MOST the buyer is willing to pay... and the LEAST the seller is willing to accept... Bottom line...

If the least you would ever be willing to take is $5,000.00... then there is the price... set it wherever you like... and hopefully get more!!!

I am sure there was no disrespect on anyones part during their appraisals... you asked for our opinions... and you got them.. go bad or otherwise...

Now... as my grandpa always use to say... don't go sweating the petty stuff..... and don't pet the sweaty stuff...

I think you've misunderstood.
I originally thought they've misunderstood, because the appraisals were like "$20" which were obviously wrong, and I explained I was talking about the site as a whole and not just the domain....

Also, I'm not asking them to pay, or to say how much I think it is, I would just like to get a few opinions regarding what people think they're worth in their views.
