There was supposed to be A lot of "reserved" names.name -

It seemed like any of the ones I really wanted I wasn't Able to Reg - But it said they were Available .... ? Some are supposed to be a "group" thing ?

You can compete with competitive keyword by registering them as they are still available .
2.99 is dead cheap for registering highly competitive words. Sighz its over now.

2nd, 3rd, 4th round borks for me also. Names appeared as available, then borked with failure message after payment. Very strange.

Seems a bit strange because other names were said to be reserved, but not these ones. They were said to be availiable for registration...

yeah I had similiar problems also.

however, now it costs $7.77

I think whois.name would be a great developement project. I am not too excited about the extension or the sale on top of the non transfer policy. So your guaranteed to pay more as soon as the sale is over with no kind of chance of transferring the domain elsewhere if you are unhappy with your registrar or if you sell it. I hope nobody developes one and gets stuck with high reg fees. Hmz let me think about this one, I'll pass! .biz @ $4.95 seems like a safer bet.

I am having one problem!!!!

I can't add my Name Servers to any of my .name domains registered with domainsite.

I have sent their support team an email, I have also left them a voice mail message, but no replies so far.

Have all you guys registered with yoru proper name servers????

Guys, any feedback with the success or failure with you Name Server changes will be very helpful.

I haven't heard anything back from domainsite so far!!!!!!

all i did before was email support @ domainsite.com , and that took care of the problem. They also gave me a number - 303 480 5307 - is that what you tried?

I was only able to add one of my two nameservers. But since the domains arnt that crucial I was satisfied with only one DNS in the system. Have you tried with a different one than the one that I guess you've already tried?

Just will not let you change from their servers ....

I just received 2 calls from them to confirm my recent orders. I hope you guys placed accurate contact info, as at these prices with (I assume) razor-thin margins, they will surely cancel any order they can't confirm in order to avoid the risk of chargebacks.

I got my order approved without being contacted in any way at all. They just informed me that the cc had been verified to be legitimate and the order was successful.
