well believe it or not, lawyers offer me good dollars all the time for it

but we might develop it one day into a legal portal

you put an i, e or 1 in front of any key legal name and it is very salable to attorney's

this dom could be sold all day long in the hundreds to attorneys

it could be sold a few times a month even in the lo 4 fig area

I know i get offers on it all the time

ran it on ebay once, got up to around 1K

some say 1 names don't go well on radio

we've developed some over the years and they do well with radio

the best deal with one names though are to have both the 1 and one version

so anyone that puts in a one instead of 1 finds you

we really like them, in fact if you have any 1 with keywords you want to sell send us a list

we buy them all the time

same with i's and e's and a few 247's

anyway, some hate them some like them

all I know is they do sell with key words

May be effective for the S/E's, but IMHO Reg. fee - $35.00.
Best of Luck here.

interesting. It just looks so ugly and secondrate. Most resellers would judge it that way as well. Though you have it sus'd though. Law people offering you big bucks for it. Good luck with it!

every major firm has their own name as a dot com

now lawyers are major local advertisers, look at the back page of your local yellow pages, who's there? most likely a lawyer

lawyers spend large amounts advertising in the local media

major firms do not spend large amounts advertising nationally

a short time ago it was against the ethics of the ABA to advertise

so lawyers are now aggressive advertisers in local media

what works better for a lawyer on a radio or tv ad?

go to www.nameanothernameyetanothername.com

or

ilaw.com/net/us/biz/ws

or

elaw.com/net/us/biz/ws

or

1law.com/net/biz/ws

the key words for any attorney to own for maximum advertising recall are

law / legal / attorney / lawyer

any of these names with an i or and e or even a 1 or one are valuable net real estate to any potential end user

now lawyers are one of the largest groups of small business owners in the US

when I deal with them I show them 1Law.com and laugh, the boss wants to use it one day as a legal portal, so unless you have a ton of cash it's really not for sale

but we have this and that as well as that etc

1law.com is a hook we use to get the ears of any attorney

it works

so we know the value of it

now you all hate zero domains right?

you know how many times a week I could sell D0CT0R.com

we get offered hundreds and even occassionally thousands of dollars for it

why don't we sell?

we use it as a great hook

we can legally put D0CT0R.com on a banner or text link across our large network and people come flocking to see D0CT0R.com for sale CHEAP

so as much as some hate 1 and zero dom's the fact is to a doctor D0CT0R.com is a great name, why? on the net his banner can say D0CT0R.com as well as his text links, and if you operate websites you know banners and text links next to search engine position are the way you do net biz

now a 1 or zero domain name is not the most valuable net RE in the world, but the right keyword with a 1 or using a zero or even the dreaded hypen does have a decent value to an end user

what lawyer wouldn't want L-A-W.com on his business card? looks great doesn't it

what stock broker or RE broker wouldn't want B-R-O-K-E-R.com on his business card

ever hear of vanity?

these are vanity dom's and well worth the reg fee

why?

you can sell them fast over and over for many multiples of a reg fee

if you throw in hosting/design/promotion etc you can get a large deal using a minor domain to hook the vanity of a small businessman that wants to see

L-A-W.com or 1Law.com or iLaw.com on his card

or on his yellow page ad

or on his tv ad

all you have to do is try one of these dom's

reg one for what 8 or 9 bucks or less if you have a 6 buck enom account

then go to a bbs/usenetgroup/chatroom for that industry

say excuse me, this is a one time post but I have something many of you could use 1KEYWORD.com

I will host it and do the design of the site

please contact me and I'll give you references of happy clients

you could sell these names over and over and over again

I know I see offers all the time for what many think are not worth much more than reg fees

they're wrong

the reason is I get the offers all day on this stuff so I know

and all you have to do is try just one keyword in an industry where you have many small businesses

take it right to where they hang out

say here it is

then you decide how little you want to sell it for

you want 100 you want 200 you want 500 you want a hundred bucks a month and you throw in hosting and design

you own something MANY people would pay you something for

anyway, I'm just telling what I know, small business owners love to see the key word for their industry with either hypens, or an i, e or 1 in it

now if you're only looking to invest 8 bucks in name you can sell for 20K one day good luck

you can reg names all day long in niche markets with i's e's 1's and hyphens

you can turn them over fast to end users for 100 bucks or you can hold them and try to do a package deal with services

this goes against what most so-called domain sellers think, but the reality is business owners love having a keyword with a minor blemish (i, e, 1, hyphen)

to a domain reseller they are garbage, but as the saying goes

ones garbage is anothers treasure

actually the last time it was put up as an advertising hook at ebay it had lo 4 fig bids

it's in the hold portfolio for future development

i could sell it several times a month for 1k+

i could sell it every day of the week for 100+

I met this guy before, and he wont stop until you tell him what he wants to hear! When I first saw his posts in some other place, he was selling you.com for the environs of $10,000,000. and many people thought it was a bit overpirced for the current market. But in the end, its worth what someone will pay for it right? So good luck idomainbrokers.

what you saw was one of many brokers who have the right to sell you.com

the only name with a 10M figure on it at idomainbrokers.com is bill.com it also has a low value of 2M

it's being shopped to MAJOR BANKS around the world and it will be a mult-million dollar deal

so get your facts straight

you.com has always had a wholesale value of 50K on it as well as 200K and 500K as to lo and hi retail

so next time get the numbers right

bill.com is a major financial domain name for a bank for online billing

range 2M to 10M

you.com is a nice dom no big deal

but the range has always been 50K to 500K

right now the owner says sell

so the wholesale is lo 5 fig

that means under 50K

anyway, get your facts straight

Agreed. These guys spam the boards trying to convince people that their undeveloped names are worth more than the market-cap of my last startup. Then they brag about how they have Alexa rankings in the mid to low six figures! I remember one of these guys getting booted from DNF a while back. They all claim to be affiliated somehow with AIS Domains, although AIS Domains vigorously denies it. I don't mind their posts in general, but after a while they get long winded and bloated with profanity. At one point, one of these guys started shouting about how they predicted September 11th and were feared by the CIA because they were sent here to supervise the destruction of the United States...some crap like that.

iDomain...blah, blah, blah; it's good you guys dropped the price of Bill.com from $10 Million to $2 Million. Not bad, 80% in 3 weeks. Come down another Mil. and maybe someone on this board will start to take you seriously...until you start puking garbage about your boss' psychic abilities.

I don't mean to sound like a hater, but clowns like these take away from the serious nature of forums like this one. I just want us to keep it real.

get your facts straight

the bansche

the appraisal on it has always been

2M wholesale
5M lo retail
10M hi retail

there's been no drop on it

it's being shopped to major banks

it will probably be sold via sealed bids

it's a major name for a bank for on-line billing

your comments are false and misleading

the range as to the estimated value is what it is

2M to 10M

what it sells for who knows

for a bank to even make an offer on it, it will have to be in excess of 2M

anyway, why don't you get your facts straight

how many people have DNF booted in the past few months?

100?

read my posts here and see how the WM of this place has been gracious in thanking me for adding my expert knowledge to his forum

so stop putting out disinfo

1. there's tons of agents that work for AIS

I'm not an agent, I'm one of the VP's

I could care less what DNF did

right now this is the only place I've been posting and what I've said here has been met by the WM with kind words

so can it

now since you think o0p.com is a showcase name we all know you need serious help

1. you.com was never offered at anything above 500K from AIS

2. bill.com has a price range of 2M to 10M

now since you think o0p.com is a showcase name we all know you shouldn't even be allowed to make any public statements about anything in regards to domains

how about this

last week we sold a nice .net for more than the total of all deals done in months at afternic

what have you ever done?

you.com is a great deal and if you had any money you'd be bidding on it

especially at lo 5 figs

so keep regging stuff like o0p.com

You are correct Daryl. Most domainers have met idomainbrokers /CEO/MONEY.
He has been booted from several DN boards.
I was hoping that he would relax a bit and learn from experience that insulting people doesn't help any sale. Let alone win any friends over in this business. Its a very small business sector/community compared to most.

Please clean it up a bit and rethink your attitude idomainbrokers.
Thanks!
