Hi folks,
the specialized tool for searching shortest domains (1-chars - 5-chars like 1.nf,ab.ca,abc.com,1234.net,12345.org) search_short_domains is now available in version 1.2. for Linux, Windows and Mac. It includes the new "learning" function - the software learns about checked domains and makes a search much faster next time. It is extremly fast, you can even check 18000 domains in under 27 seconds to see if any is free, or sometimes even faster than this. The "learning" works with many domains especially the popular .com/.net/.org/.co/.ca/.biz/.info
It includes now also the new one-command easy-search scripts for Windows

This tool gives a quite better position in catching the hot LLL/NNN/NNNN etc.

UPDATE: Now with more than 860.000 already learned domains in database for free!
Full CCC.com and LLLL.com list in domainbase file. Over 570.000 .com in list - easy to import in Excel/Calc Office programs.

New version was released: 1.4.0
Cool new feature: if free domains found you can be notified by email. This at the moment works only on Mac and Linux out of the box (if terminal mail is configured of course) but you can configure this also on windows with some DOS commandline based e-mail program.
Also new is the watch_domain monitor that checks any domain you want until its free and informs you then. Also some smaller search improvements made, f.e. better response to .pl and .my whois data.
