.tv $175,000 for ...

I was contacted by the sedo rep selling 3d/tv because i have 3dtv/tv , he has quoted me the price of $175,000 which is way cheaper the $500,000 that 3d/com achieved

The thing is i reckon there will be a day when then is considered a great price , however not sure it that day is today

......thougts on the price ?

3d/tv is not my domain

He means that Sedo reps are so awesome at finding potential buyers that they were trying to sell 3d.tv to him for $175,000 based on the fact that he owned 3dtv.tv with a minisite/blog on it.

To answer the original question - I don't think this name will ever sell for $175K

That about somes it up , he asked what i thought about the price quoted and i replied i think it will eventually be sold for between $25-$50,000 ??

I also said that eventually that may be seen as bargain

Unless you're Sony, Samsung, etc the price is good. As far as reseller value goes, the domain is overpriced. Plus I work with 3D systems, if you plan to wholesale the 3D Tv's from china then you're out luck! People go directly to the source (Sony.com, Samsung.com)!!!!

There is an inbuilt marketing aspect to the name, i said to the sedo rep he needed to contact Sony ....etc, his answer was 'of course i have' ...wait and see i guess

I'm not a fan of 3D and I hope/think it's a fad that will fade away within a few years. If I owned 3D.tv I would be stunned to get $175,000 for it.
