I saw this and was wondering... has anyone tried it or have any idea what/how it works?
The site doesn't really explain what it really is/how it works.
Anyone have any comments? Site does have a 30 day money back guranteed..

Sounds iffy. I mean if it really does work why charge just $30.
Wouldn't it still be a great deal at $300?

nope
well actually the instructions are too hard first of all

u have to make a wodden box
and then flip the tv over make it stationary..
etc etc

Actually it does work to a degree. My friend downloaded instructions for free off kazaa, and bought the fresnel lens for $3 and converted one of his small TV's into it. And it worked but quality was dismal.

I plan on trying it with a Flat Screen TV once I get enough money to risk it. Since the best method involves turning the TV upside down, I dont want to break it lol.

Also, one way I plan on increasing the quality is. WIth a normal TV of say 18' Projected up to 100' You get a Aspect Ratio of 1:5.5 + the outer edges will be quite blurry sicne your Make a basically curved surface go onto a thin sheet of plastic or like a wall.

With a Flat-screen 25' TV you can get a Ratio of 1:4 which isnt 1/2 bad and you solve the blurry edges. Still quality wont be too awesome, but worth trying :)

seems like a good idea, but i can image there being some work you have to do, and quality has to be bad, theres no way around that

my TV was purchased from www.edg.com, its 82 inch front screen projection, when u hit power the screen rolls out from the ceiling. We wanted a TV in our family room, but the fireplace was in the way and we wanted the fireplace so the tv rolls down from the cialing, its easier and much cooler, EDG has gotten much better since my family purchased it, they use HD Projectors now, which is smaller so the projector comes down from the ceiling also, very cool! Check out their website, interesting pics, amazing what they can do

What if the thin sheet of plastic was curved a little, like a movie theater's screen?
