Here are 131 great landrush domains. Each one is believed to be a first name and/or last name that is amongst the 100 most popular in the United States. Right now I'm setting them at $500 BIN. Not the cheapest .mobi names around, as expected for names this great.

I own 136 firstname.mobi and lastname.mobi domains. I'm holding onto joe.mobi and mike.mobi, and two last names (my own, and a friends). Additionally medina.mobi is currently going through outside negotiations so it isn't being discounted here.

I listed these names on Sedo 4 months ago with a $1000 or greater min. bid. Since then, I've sold 'Wooden.mobi' for $1000 and 'Gordon.mobi' for $1000. I also received a $500 bid for Medina.mobi (outside of Sedo), but I have not responded and I'm about to tell him that he can have it for $1000

If one of these names has personal interest, great! If not, think of the investments as hundreds of thousands if not millions of people use each one of these names, and people tend to be attached to their names.

Answering questions from above:

1. Most all if not all expire at the very end of September
2. They are registered with DomainDiscover and Namescout. They can be pushed into accounts at the same register for free. If moved to GoDaddy or Moniker then the names have to be renewed.
3. No other fees. If pushed to the same registrar, there is no cost. If transfered, the cost is just the fee to renew.
4. $500 BIN is each individual name. As a group would be less than $10 each which doesn't make sense for names that keep selling for $1000!
