If there's one thing in life I've learned, it's that there are rules, and then there are rules that actually get enforced. This one obviously falls under simply "rules".

I'm betting that there must be tens of thousands of domains in their portfolio. As a registrar, to horde domains is clearly unethical and should be addressed by ICANN. As long as no one makes the appropriate "fuzz" about it though, it's not going to change...

tucows paid $18 million for netidentity which is the company that owned the names:
