My thought process was it was very simple to remember. It stands for January 2001. Also, there are approximately 18,000 three letter .com combinations and 500,000 four letter .coms combinations. Three letter .coms can go for $XX,XXX and four letter .coms can go for xx-xxx. Well there are only 99,999 combinations of five number combinations. Perhaps they could be valued somewhere between the three and four letter .com combinations. Just a thought.
