I'm holding a $10 logo contest for a webmaster site, okay more than that - a webmaster network. All's it has to say is Webmastered.NET - I want it to look nice, professional...the rest is up to you.

Could you elaborate a bit or perhaps tell each designer what you like or don't like....how to improve upon your design....it would not only help us, but, it will also help you in getting the desired design. Thank you.

P|A|T|R|I|C|K: I think yours is way too simple because it's just plain text with stroke around it. It isn't appealing to the eyes and doesn't really emphasize the word at all, IMO. Your second entry looks like it just added a drop shadow and belevel effect..

JanineXD: I don't like the entry you chose because for one thing, it's a giant W, which I don't understand at all why you would just have it so there and so rough too. I don't want the visitor to be distracted by a giant W...it just doesn't make sense.

JustNewbie: I liked your attempt but I not really seeing a connection with the word/phrase and the style you chose...it looks too "spacey" to me more than what it should be which is like internet and technology and webmastering. Also .NET should be capitilized, and the lines through WEB that you're doing I know has been done mostly with PC-related website and magazine logos.

Josephine: Why so far I like your entry the best? Well it's simple, you have an actual logo in there which is the two letters put at different angles, and I like the little swoop line underneath the word to the right.

xevinX: I stated before that I don't like rounded fonts that much and this one is just not appealing IMO, and the effect which you really wanted to bring out is illegal as it is a copyrighted trademark to Microsoft; the IE symbol/logo.

xpressions: What is that stuff above the word Webmastered.NET? Oh now that I look at it, .NET should be capitilized by the way. I wasn't sure if that part above it is part of the logo or not. Nevertheless, I think a better font is in order, and maybe some sleeker effects on the font.

eThayne: Your logos are too rough although concept 3b is more smooth. If you add some more styling and effects, along with some color, I can see myself liking it a LOT more *hint hint*.

YaSHaRz: Your logo looks like it could fit an airplane related website better than a webmaster network website, in all honesty. I like the font but maybe put a different effect on it?
