The .ORG registry is releasing 42 one and two character .org domains exclusively through GoDaddy Auctions. Don't know exacty when this will happen.

I expect most of the single-digit names will go for mid $xx,xxx and up.

I am pretty sure its not possible, since these names come directly from the .org registry and they want the "budgets" to be spent on their own names and not other sellers names (because in that case only the sellers and godaddy would make $$$$$). Therefore i am quite sure the list is fixed and a special agreement between the org registry and godaddy, with no additional domains from other parties.

Yea, this sounds to me like the .ORG registry needs some cash. They arranged something with GoDaddy to auction these special names off and GoDaddy will get their cut. I don't think they will be welcoming any 2 character .ORG's in this one.

My guess is most of these will be going in the mid-high $xx,xxx range..
