The most important thing for a slogan to have is rhythm, so that it sticks in the memory like a catchy song. The whole point of a slogan is to make people remember YOUR message. For this reason the best slogans don't contain conjunctions like "but" or "because"; the pause interrupts the flow horribly, and you probably shouldn't be trying to construct more than one complete idea anyway.

The winning slogan could be rephrased, "Priceless domains for sale", but that doesn't really do it for me either.

To me, "Priceless but for sale" sounds great -- it was one of my favorites along with Elliot's.
