What's the deal with clicks not paying any money? I have put up a site and it is getting minimal traffic (because of minimal advertising) and I saw 1 click come through yesterday - $0. Another click came today - $0. What's the deal?

Probably a click on a public service ad.

or a click that is invalid.

Thanks guys. I've not seen PSA's on there. Maybe it's different when others see it? What constitutes an invalid click?

clicking on our own ads make invalid click and one more thing if we get clicks from loacal area that is same ISP this also leads to invalid
i suggest to you t contact adsense they know whether it is public service ad or invalid and they may help you

Wait, are you saying if people in a certain area click on links, there won't be revenue? I have a cityname.info and most of the visitors are obviously from the city.

They are saying people from YOUR area. If they have the same ISP as you or a similar IP, they might think it's you trying to click your own ads.

Right, it's a local city in my area (just a few miles away) that probably has the same ISP. What a drag. Thanks.

odds are a click on a PSA, or a sitetargetted ad (and simply havn't had enough impressions yet to make money from them/it)

Just a thought.
If you ran a advertising company (which has people promote ads and people buy ad space) and people were delivering lots of clicks from japan or some country that typically speaks a different language other then english. And your ads were in english, would you count them and give credit?
Because I think that the odds are that the people who clicked on the ad (taking the advertisers money) can't even read english, let alone signup for whatever service the advertiser was promoting.
