Advertising/Offers - Exclusively.tv launched

Before I posted this self-promotional thread, I got permission from Equity78. I was told to preface it with Advertising/Offers so this should be an acceptable post.

I have been a fan of .tv for many years but never really chased it. I bought Cuba.tv and Havana.tv (both premiums) because my main business is publishing a Cuba information site.

I went to TRAFFIC in Florida in October 2006. The guest speaker was Tom Gardner from the Motley Fool/Fool.com. He was very bullish on video on the net so his prediction of the night was that .tv would be the hot domain extension of 2007. The audience (myself included) was almost offended by such an uneducated prediction. We all thought .tv is dead, overpriced...forget about it.

Well, a couple month later I learn about Richard Rosenblatt's interest in .tv. Enom.tv was formed around December of last year if I remember right? Anyway, then comes the announcement of .tv tools and a major relaunch of .tv and here we are today with .tv poised to become the hot domain extension of 2007.

So, I have gotten a little caught up in the pre-hype and bought some .tv domains but I really wanted to participate and contribute to this new extension. Everyone here at Namepros is so positive about the extension (unlike some of the .mobi haters out there) so I developed and launched http://Exclusively.tv to cover JUST the .tv industry.

There is news along with domains, websites and services for sale and wanted. It's all built on php and Web 2.0 so every member gets to post to any section and they get a profile page where they can post their portfolio, wanted or services offered.

I have posted several domains for sale and news stories. I will be starting original content posts that will let all visitors post comments so they can self-promote their .tv interests.

Membership is free till the end of Aprill then I start charging hoping to make back some of my investment.

You can see my ad running at the top of this marketplace and .tv forum as well as at the bottom of the sales page at DNJournal. I'll do a press release next week and will start to further promote the site which will be good for all members.

So, come on over and give it try. There really is no other site that gives members such control over their own content.
