I coded my very own forum from the ground up. I'm still working on it, there is a long way to go, but it works right now. :p
It's a part of my gaming site I've been working on.

Congrats! It must be a great feeling to have completed that task.

I took a look and liked it. I liked the console design, it matches the focus of the forum. It also loaded very quickly, and to me is always a bonus.

I did find the tabs to the right of "game reviews" a little hard to see, but I think that's a work in progress.

Another plus is it's very easy to navigate.

Good luck with the forum, I hope it goes well for you - in the days of Sonic and Flashback, I would have joined but I haven't played any games for years!

To me, it's still the days of Sonic, etc.
I still have a Sega, and I love playing old games sometimes.

I think that would be a great idea. Nostalgia threads such as music, tv, radio etc, always do well in forums. A gamers program on TV here often includes such a section and is very popular.
