Very brandable, "traunt" is found in the 1903 dictionary, though it is no longer in use (nor in any contemporary dictionary). It meant, "To sell in an itinerary fashion." such as peddling door-to-door. That was before the age of telephones and electronics, which still allows the same itinerary...
