domain age matters

I have some domains that I had registered back between 1996-2000. They're just sitting on parking landing pages. Not really doing much. Will a domain being 24 years old add value when I list it for sale? Or is the age irrelevant.

The domain age may matter even more if it was being held and not available to the public before. If it's been around for 15-20 yrs, but unable to be sold, that's a very different matter. Thanks for the great article, as always.
