... I'm going to:

1. Buy a small island somewhere in the Pacific. A coral atoll will do.
2. Declare independence. I might have to fight a small war, so I rely on my negotiating skills acquired while playing the domain game.
3. Name my new country Fu and get my own ccTLD - .fu. If you have other name suggestions, please do share.
4. Start a registry and sell .fu domains.

Sounds like a plan?

I was wondering the same thing regarding Bill Gates. I mean, why hasn't he retired? I've decided that if I had billions.. and I had the possibility of making more billions, I'd want to do it, if only because I could do so much good, donating to charities, etc. I've concluded that that is why Gates still works so hard. And yeah, we already know he donates a ton.

And Microsoft really is something that he began. So you wouldn't want to disconnect yourself from it.

Strangest thing happened...

A capital city of Tuvalu (.tv) is Funafuti (double Fu). And IT IS a CORAL ATOLL. Population 3,500.

Funafuti.tv was available, so I grabbed it.

A total freaky coincidence. I think it's a sign from above. I'm buying Funafuti and declaring independence from Tuvalu. Watch the news for updates.
